From the age of 10, Taylor Swift was already thinking about ways to make it in the music industry. After watching several documentaries of country stars, Taylor had in her mind that she needed to move to Nashville in order to boost her career.

She tells EW, "When I was 10, or younger than that, even, I would watch these biographies on Faith Hill or the Dixie Chicks or Shania Twain or LeAnn Rimes, and the thing I kept hearing was that they had to go to Nashville."

Although Taylor didn't get a call back, she remained relentless while understanding that she needed to make adjustments. One of them, was putting a focus on songwriting which proved to be a huge factor. However, before the success came and Taylor was able to navigate to the very top, she faced lots of rejection and that held true with Jimmy Kimmel.

Taylor, Jimmy and the music booker Scott were all able to have a laugh about the incident years later on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The host retold the story of Taylor showing up with her guitar as a 14-year-old, wanting to play a song for the show's music booker.

As it turns out, the booker wasn't having it and Taylor ended up getting kicked off the lot. Hilariously years later, Jimmy returned the favor during his interview with Taylor Swift, as Scott was kicked out of the building instead. The moment received a nice ovation from the audience.
