Saratoga Springs Utah Temple open house reservations

Reservations are now available online to tour the Saratoga Springs Utah Temple during the public open house via churchofjesuschrist.org/featured/saratoga-springs-utah-open-house.

The public open house is Saturday, April 15, to Saturday, July 8, excluding Sundays. Tours start at 9 a.m. Mountain Time and the last tours start at 7:55 p.m. Mountain Time.

All ages are invited. The free tours include a short video and then a walking tour and lasts about an hour. It is wheelchair accessible and comfortable shoes and modest dress are also recommended, according to the open house information.

The temple at 987 Ensign Drive, Saratoga Springs, Utah, is three stories high and about 87,000 square feet. The 22.7 acre area also includes an adjacent meetinghouse. 

President Henry B. Eyring, second counselor in the First Presidency, will dedicate the temple on Sunday, Aug. 13 and the dedicatory will be broadcast to all units within the temple district.

The Saratoga Springs Utah Temple was announced in April 2017 by then-Church President Thomas S. Monson. Elder Craig C. Christensen, a General Authority Seventy and then-president of the Utah Area, presided over the groundbreaking of the Saratoga Springs Utah Temple on Oct. 19, 2019, and offered the dedicatory prayer on the temple site. 

Utah’s 14 dedicated and operating temples are the Bountiful, Brigham City, Cedar City, Draper, Jordan River, Logan, Monticello, Mount Timpanogos, Ogden, Oquirrh Mountain, Payson, Provo City Center, Provo and Vernal temples. The Saratoga Springs temple will be the state’s 15 dedicated and operating temple.

Previously dedicated temples under renovation are the Manti, St. George and Salt Lake temples.

Utah’s 10 under construction are the Deseret Peak, Ephraim, Heber Valley, Layton, Lindon, Orem, Red Cliffs, Smithfield, Syracuse and Taylorsville temples.

More temple open houses

Reservations are available for the Richmond Virginia Temple open house, Saturday, March 25, through Saturday, April 15, excluding Sundays and April 1-2 for general conference, and are available via RichmondTemple.org or reservations.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. President Dallin H. Oaks, first counselor in the First Presidency will dedicate the Richmond temple on Sunday, May 7. 

Parking reservations are available for the Columbus Ohio Temple open house, from April 29 to  May 13, 2023, excluding Sundays, via reservations.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. The Sunday, June 4, rededication will be by President M. Russell Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
